My daughter was 8 years old at the time I started this series. I knew so many friends with young children and many were nice enough to let me borrow their stuffed animals so they could “sit” for portraits for me. There were many, many puppet shows in 2008 in my house! These paintings were exhibited together with Susan Paczek’s sculpture in a show called “Portraits, Presence and Play” at the University of Regina Fifth Parallel Gallery, and they were also exhibited at Mata Gallery in Regina.

I sell fine quality reproductions of these stuffed animal portraits printed with archival inks on cotton rag paper, and I ship them in the mail. Sizes available are 8.5x11”, 13x19” and 17x22”. I am also interested in painting commissioned portraits of stuffed animals. Please contact me for more information or to place an order.
